Experiences
We're looking for a backend engineer with 3+ years of experience building production-grade APIs and services. You have deep expertise in server-side technologies like Node.js, Python, or Go, and you're comfortable working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) as well as NoSQL solutions when appropriate.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is essential, and you should understand how to design systems that scale. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices is highly valued.
You write clean, maintainable code and care deeply about system reliability and performance. Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or data pipelines is a plus. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is expected.
Responsibilities
As a Backend Engineer, you'll design, build, and maintain the APIs and services that form the foundation of our AI platform.
You'll work closely with frontend engineers to ensure our APIs are well-documented, performant, and delightful to use. You'll architect data models and optimize database queries to handle our growing scale.
Security and reliability will be top of mind you'll implement authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices. You'll participate in code reviews, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape our backend architecture.
You'll also monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues in production, and iterate rapidly to deliver features that delight our users.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions will be central to your work.
